Midwest Warehouse Acquires AIM Transportation

Merger increases Midwest Warehouse’s density, efficiency and service capabilities in and around Chicago

Woodridge, IL (March 24, 2008) – Best-in-class provider of full-service logistics solutions, Midwest Warehouse & Distribution System, Inc., announced today that it has acquired AIM Transportation.

Midwest Warehouse purchased AIM from Madison Warehouse on January 1, 2008. The acquisition brought 16 drivers and power units to Bedford’s service area, expanding the company fleet to a 500 mile radius of Chicago. The acquisition enables Bedford to add specialized curtain van and refrigerated deliveries to its menu of services.

Ed Borkowski, Midwest Warehouse CEO and co-founder, says the recent merger demonstrates the fine working relationship, trust and integrity between Midwest Warehouse, Bedford Motor, Madison Warehouse and AIM. “The merger has increased our presence in the Chicago area, and has greatly expanded our service capabilities. It’s increasing the value we can bring to our customers.”
